Here's the short of it, pirates are preying on one of our planets in the local cluster and the militia isn't quite up to the challenge. Since we're in the neighborhood they're calling in a favor with us to deal with the issue. Now here's the important bit. Since we're being contracted on such short notice they don't have the time to run the terms of our payment past any sort of committee, so we're not getting paid for this mission. Instead we're getting FULL salvage rights, which are pretty new terms for us and could pay off better than any contract. We get to keep or sell of what we don't totally wreck from weapons to repairable mechs. Now these are pirates picking on backwater worlds so I'm not expecting front line mechs, but if you wanted new parts for your mech on the cheap or spot a particularly good one altogether then here's your shot. launch availability starts as early as TOMORROW. I'm Sending this via PM and posting it in our lance's thread. Get back to me on a launch date and post in the public thread so our drop coordinator can get us on the field and paid.

Most issues for work I encounter happen in the morning, so preferably not before noon CST. Otherwise, anytime works for me!

you guys can take the day they don't if you want. sunday most likely is best for you. saturday is the only day dihm can drop.

I have a project scheduled for sunday through about 2pm other than that everything can be moved around with a day or so notice.
Free anytime, like I said most of the things I need to deal with for work happen in the morning, but otherwise I'm always open. 24 hr notice would be nice though, since I do make other plans.
i really feel bad things didn't work out for you guys. just please try not to get frustrated. we have all had some tough drops over the year. I don't think any lance has managed to go this long without some losses. Alpha already lost a Catapult. Delta lost a Grasshopper. Both owners are still active in the campaign. it happens sometimes. now the good news: the rest of the Commandos did well enough that i don't think some wouldn't mind sharing the wealth a bit. The loss of the Centurion, although certainly not easy, shouldn't be too difficult to replace. a repost from delta's thread: this bonus drop means that at least Cyko and possibly Derak could still earn some salvage for your lance. they will need to be careful, but it is better than nothing anyway. Ibex, I'm sorry you got shot up so bad, but I hope you won't let one drop ruin the whole game for you.
I'm definitely dropping in my injured Panther; he only lost some rear armor and a heatsink. Being the new guy, I'd like to extend my gratitude at being selected for Gamma Lance over the other new recruits, and offer an even split of any salvage I find during the next drop with the rest of you. Oh I remember the days where my character got captured by pirates and the lance had to come rescue me. Then I got my shiny new Grasshopper blown up in its first mission. Trust me, it can be overcome.
