New Skin

    Working on a new skin. Old one had some severe problems and bugs that can no longer be band-aid fixed, so rebuilding a new one from a decent base.

    I will not be using a complicated background image anymore, and going for [SoR] colors w this one. The Original skin slowed down the site considerably, and this should free up some space/speed it up and be a bit easier on the eyes.

    If you really want, you can still use the old skin as I left it in the system. Go to the very bottom left of the web page and use the drop down box to select the "Skjaldborg" skin.

    Also, if you have any suggestions, see a bug/etc, please post it in this thread.

    Me likey. Makes our banner pop like a mofo.

    I do miss having the bigger bubble in a highly noticeable orange to show when there's new posts. The little arrows aren't as easy to recognize yet. :D

    Don't know if you can correct this at all, but when making new Threads, it's black text on dark grey background, sorta hard to make sure you're typing the right stuff in. :lol:

    Loving the new set up, a lot.

    Can you change the thread icons to a mech? Mad Cat if you want to be classic btech? That way we can have it as we do now. Unread topic, etc is a yellow Mad Cat silhouette, read is grey.

    Yeah I just switched and the little arrows for the forums don't stand out very well. Other than that I like.

    Yeah, the arrows dont do it for me either. Ill continue working on this tonight after work. :)

    No issues with it today at work. I didn't get to do as much as I normally do since I had to work day shift, but no issues. Loving the new skin. Also, Skoll is a clanner. We need to "reeducate" him.

    Side note the skin looks sooooo much better on my phone now. Much easier to read. Alrhough i can see a few spacing changes i am going to have to make

    Ahhhhhh, so the skin redesign came from selfishness? I see how it is. As long as it's better for you it doesn't matter how it works for the rest of us. :unamused:

    I have to say I like it, the drop down menu options arent super huge anymore. Was annoying having to scroll down to pick something.
