If there's a benefit to being one our most eastern TZ's it's definitely the ability to get an early start into christmas! Going to start eating it in a couple of hours, got some home made rocky road-style dessert in the fridge. And eventually when the kids hit pillows we have a bottle of wine and some Dooley's cream liquor, it's chocolatey and will go nice with the rocky road thing. And the ham... holy shit. Had a taster and it's so fine... *drools* We had a bit less gifts for the kids this year but I don't think they'll mind. I half think my daughter got an overdose of gifts last year when she received something like 4 dolls and 2 horses to go with them and so. She went all "AMAZING! now where's more?" Happy Holidays to everyone! I'm at work, but it's looking like today will be a streaming day, followed by a X-mas dinner at Mom's house, then another, tomorrow, on the day, at Dad's. So much foods.

Yup, going to have a second full day of festivities at father in law's. Had some good glög (glogg, aka. hehkuviini - finnish, glühwein - german, glow wine, mulled wine,..) with the amazingly delicious ham. First observation was that it was strong, then I started getting more used to it as it hit my head really fast which is typical for me. Also typical that the effects wore off in like 20 minutes, I didn't have a lot of it and so but I was quite blasted through the meal and feasted medieval style. Kids watching Planes 2, myself just sitting back and listening to christmas songs. I really, really like this. And it's nice to know that this is just day 1, there's more. So nice.
