Veteran is tied to the forum, not awards. It changes from member to veteran based on number of posts (not sure what that number is).
Crap, you're right. That was the old forum. I was thinking about the forum titles, not the member ribbons.
Right now, it's determined by Overseer vote. An Overseer puts up members they see with the following: Veteran - Members who have gone above and beyond, and have been with us for a while. There is an expectation that they will provide help and guidance to Recruits and Members. There are no new privileges at this rank, other than the title. We can always revisit the criteria and tweak if people think we should.
So veterans aren't veterans. They are Guides that's been with us for a long time. Gotcha. Well never-mind then. I've only been here for a while.
Hello! Coming up (or just past) my three year mark with the Skjaldborg. Can I get a bump up in my service ribbon?
Always the bridesmaid never the old guard... But it seems that i am in to my third year now... Time flies does it not. In another three i might have saved up enough money to buy the computerparts needed to upgrade in to a rig that can run MWO properly. =)
My two-year was 2 weeks ago, totally forgot. Time does indeed fly when you're having fun :headbanger:
