NASA has about 17 livestreams going right now for the Eclipse, check it out. https://www.nasa.gov/eclipselive/#NASA TV Public Channel
Around here there were some people who started shooting off fireworks during the totality. They get a chance to see something that happens for two minutes out of an entire fraggin' century and they decide to watch fireworks instead. I can't even.
so I was out watching the eclipse, and realized after a few moments that while the eclipse itself was cool, being able to see the eclipse multiplied by the number of leaves on the tree and pasted on the ground was actually cooler, so I took a couple pictures XD
Oh, I know there's gonna be more eclipses sooner than that, but a total eclipse delivered to your doorstep is a lot less common.
Was on a boat for the eclipse. People were cheering when it got dark and again when it got light. Also some kids (teens probably) were going "good morning".
I told people that it was actually the end of the world and everything they knew About eclipses was a lie created by the government so that they wouldn't freak out during the apocalypse.
