I mean, honestly doesn't matter if the story is any good, you know they're going to do some crazy graphics, it'll be worth watching for that alone.
We're different in that regard - the scenery and action scenes don't cut it for me if the story and the movie are bad. I see this either being very strong in the good or in the bad. It's hard to imagine this being mediocre.
I watched Casino Royale on a plane, but didn't have headphones so I watched the entire movie silent. Watched it later with sound, realized I hadn't missed anything. XD
Thinking more about the therapist, that pretty much has to be dreadfully bad on purpose. The whole scene is blue, and it’s tough to believe that someone transgendered would write such cliche dialogue for a character like that if he weren’t a machine that has heard all those words but doesn’t really quite know what they mean. Fingers crossed, and I guess we’ll find out pretty soon if it’s any good.
It certainly would be a short one and not a full feature film if the therapist was awesome and made mr. Anderson give up on his 'Neo' alter ego and fantasies and become content with his lot in life!
You guys did notice the pills they have him taking, right? Also it's Neil Patrick Harris, I imagine he's more than 'just' the psychiatrist.
Oh yeah, those weren't subtle. And in retrospect neither was the therapist because man are his glasses blue as hell. Or whatever hell would be if it were blue. The sheer inanity of that character's dialog was a big part of what I was worried about--imagine a whole movie of unironically saying shit like "you seem especially triggered today." So I'm a lot more optimistic for this movie now.
Yes, imagine a movie that wasn't refined lecturing but just trying to tell a story for once without paying much heed if it ticks all the boxes of said group.
This is exactly why I bought a microwave that has two radiators, mixer and regular heat radiators. I can make a frozen pizza in 12 minutes and it's always just right - no fear of forgetting it in the oven or so. And no rotating plate either, instead of a tiny focal point in the middle the entire interior seems to get pretty similar levels of radiation.
I just set it to run twice as long at half power and let conduction do the work. It won't make a frozen pizza in twelve minutes but there's nothing on Netflix that is twelve minutes long to watch while I wait regardless.
Well I haven't paid for half the stuff I've bought. Because I had to get *all the appliances* a person needs, also after losing 16kg and not owning too many clothes to begin with and many of the existing ones being old and so I also had to buy a lot of clothes. And then I had to buy a couple of phones for the kids and a new one for myself too. And I still need to go to a dentist, get car's lamp switched and buy a new set of winter tires - and yea obviously I had to buy the car as well. Looks like whole of next year I'll spend mostly paying off all the things I have. But then it's done and I'll regard that as the last chapter of the divorce - at least I didn't get to pay any alimony so I consider myself as getting away with what is simply a very bearable single time lump sum cost. And I'm not complaining. I have my own time, I have a girlfriend that's actually super nice and all my stuff is stuff that I've personally hand picked. I just got to pay for it all, that's all
