    While I really like the MWO mechs normally I have to say after seeing the newest catalyst designs I really wish these were the models, The Warhammer is relatively the same, and the Marauder is a nice mix of classic design/modernized, but goddang the Locust steals the show, it looks like a proper Battlemech now.

    Have I ever mentioned how much I like this art style? or that I love the semi moving still frame shots for story telling in games (for an excellent example of this look at Battlefleet gothics Cut-scenes)

    Hey, the Thunderbolt and Strider didn't look too bad... though the Longbow looked kinda weird with the big guns on its arm pods.


    Oh wait, those were supposed to be a Hunchback, Stalker, and Awesome. Nevermind.

    I don't know what that art style is called, but I love it when I see it. It's beautiful and efficient in telling a story... and removes the need to sink hundreds of thousands of dollars into needlessly excessive eye candy. It doesn't guarantee that the saved money is put back into important things like gameplay development and bug testing, but I always see it as a positive sign.
