Was coming here to post about this.

 

Looks pretty awesome, if a bit on the arcadey and repetitive side!

 

for a moment I thought it was an RTS and I got really exited, but its not.

 

Color me somewhat interested.
Looks like fun little game I'm willing to give a try.

 

Watched that yesterday, they better make the AI of those enemy units much better, as they were shooting at walls all the time...

 

It looks like it's in really early devolpment, so I think it still has a ways to go

Ya, this one has a ways to go, but it looks pretty cool.

 

I want to see how this pans out. To me, it looked a lot like one of the console versions of Battletech (drove around in a Timber Wolf and fired weapons at things) or possibly a Mech Assault clone.

Granted, I only watched a couple minutes of the video, but....

 

This has melee attacks.

I want to see more.

 

What's also cool is we'll see the reseen in this game. Specifically, Shortpainter's Reseen if you remember him from the forums.

I'd like it better if you commanded a lance, even if you were still supposed to directly control your own mech in that manner, also, no seeming consequences for heat or ammunition (fairly sure the one with ripples is supposed to be a gauss) but it could still be very under developement so who knows. Melee would be a huge plus though XD

 

There's an ammo counter in the lower left. He's got a ppc, medium lasers and SRMs.

 

So much battletech goodness coming out lately, and not enough time to play it all.

 

To bad this title will probably never become more than just a dream lol "Battletech Total War"

 

Not bad, but hopefully it a) actually gets finished b) is a little less arcadey in its movements (currently it has the agility of a person rather than the stompiness of a mech) c) lets you command multiple units including multiple mechs and/or tanks and vtols, etc. d) doesn't get shut down due to licensing issues
