    Oh, got a general question.... Are there any mechs that use Artillery? Sounds interesting if there is. May take that skill. :D

    to answer your question... yes.. but not many:

    artillery is seperate from gunnery as a skill and is not recommended for new players. also, artillery is only really good against stationary targets... VERY good against landed dropships (there is a one turn delay in targeting). still... it is a huge gamble in using it as your primary unit. however, if you still want to go with that, I would first confirm with whatever lance you group up with (we will get to that soon).

    to be honest though... artillery mechs are not really viable until you get an assault mech with an XL engine... which will cost you (very rough estimate) 16 million Cbills. like i said... i would NOT recommend getting it starting with a new character.

    I, obviously, am in like Flynn.

    Edit: Hey Magnus, for the custom mechs, I noticed that you already had mine in the "submitted" folder, but now they are missing the apostrophes that I had around the custom variant name. That seems to be what is throwing MekHQ off with it. Also, I have a Hatchetman 4L variant that was built off the 3L that you'd created, only using advanced tech (double sinks and such). That's what the current "Yxa" is based off that Skwi will be getting.

    Hey Look at that. Although, if we can modify our characters I should probably drop Dodge, because it felt useless. I never used it once. Probably use it to bump up my Gunnery skill if I can.
