    Trev, I'm not trying to start a competition here.

    But if I was, I'd mention how your fabled assault lance take-down was really made possible by two aerospace fighters and a failed JJ maneuver that resulted in an ammo explosion.

    But it's not a competition.

    I think the main lesson to take away from that mission is positioning and gaining the initiative is just as important as shooting straight. I think everyone can agree that a medium-light lance facing down an assault lance and not dying in a fire is pretty damn awesome in itself... the two light aerospace fighters just helped turn a draw into a resounding victory. Also, the Victor was already dead in a previous engagement thanks to Val's quick thinking. :D The ronin assault lance ended up using Gheist's captured and partially repaired Catapult to make up for it... which we were happy to make "unavailable" to them.

    I know everyone is just excited, but lets try to keep the banter down in this channel so i can keep an accurate headcount. Feel free to make a new thread if people have random thoughts they would like to bring up :)
