In a nutshell Project Zomboid is a zombie apocalypse survival rpg/sim. The game is currently in development and has some way to go before its finished, however I would say its already 1 of my favourite games of the last 10 years AND ITS NOT EVEN FINISHED YET!

This one is for the hard-core zombie fans of old, Like The work of George Romero? Here's you game, disappointed with dead island, left for dead and dead rising? Well take a look at this bad boy you will not regret it! Its main selling point is that the game is about how you died (you cannot live forever dying is an inevitability) Its about what you can achieve with your final days!

And just a final note, the game will be on steam at some point when its a little more developed, they already have greenlight status approved. But for now the game only costs £5 and you get access to the final game after release and all test builds until such time.

Now without further ado I'm off to survive the apocalypse!.

Picked it up like 2 years ago, at this point I mostly check back every few months to see the progress they have made. Also occasionally find a shotty some whisky and pain killers then get all doped up and drunk and run in circles shooting zombies until I pass out. It is a surprisingly effective survival tactic.

You should pop your head in take a look at it now, new version released for first time in around 9 months last night. Been having a lot of fun with it the map is now huge (comparatively) they have recoded huge parts of the game, really starting to take shape and updates should be more frequent with the new development process.
