Well, I finally finished it! My Foundry quest is done and is in the process of being "Published" I don't know how long that'll take. I'm going to start up a new thread once it's done for feed back, which would be awesome if any of you play it. Also if you find any bugs.

It's called "The Choice", an experiment with divergent quest lines and of course the choices you make and how they affect said quest. It starts off with a mysterious traveler employing you to discern the source of a strange magic she has been studying. Your quest will take you down into the sewers to unearth the cities dark secrets where your choices will have a lot more weight than you would at first think.

I got a coupon for extra Zen with my next purchase of Zen, like a 15% bonus. I'm probably not going to use it, if anyone is going to buy any in the next week let me know and I'll pm the coupon code

 

So it seems there was an exploit on the AH (don't know the specifics). The end result is that the game's economy was flooded with AD, people but all available Zen on the AD-Zen market. Go figure.

EDIT: It seems you could have put an item on the AH with a minus price. In which case if you bought the same item, you would get the item as well as the AD.

I understand the whole daily gather concept, I just f'ing hate it, my schedule is such that I can't always guarantee that I'll be HOME seven days a week, much less able or willing to get on the computer , if I can't do it as my life dictates it can go to hell

 

Only bumped me back 2 levels, I was able to make that up and get another this morning.

 

Ding 60. Finally. Was able to get an epic weapon for 35 gold. Perhaps I was robbed, perhaps not. Time will tell.

 

Can someone explain me the idea behind getting to max lvl fast in this game? I havend played it much so far but as per my understanding you can not solo any content at high lvl anymore as the mobs get harder so you need a party for every foundry quest/campaign you want to check out. As for me this game is all about the foundry quests I see myself create new accounts over and over and start from scratch

 

Other then new skills, there is not a reason. It is more like it just happens, you level incredibly fast. I think faster then any other MMO I have played. Yes, the fights do get harder as you level. However they are so ridiculously easy at the beginning it is nice to have a challenge.

 

I dunno what game you were playing, I found it extremely challenging when I found myself fighting five or six mob groups with my cleric just for grins (or because they all decided to spawn -right- then ) XD

 

Daunting light one shots most normal mobs. While in Divinity you can take out most groups in one shot and be left with the one or two strong mobs. Add Divinity + Forgemaster's flame and you are golden.

Bigger groups of harder mobs can be a challenge though. Especially if you do not get them down with that first Daunting light.

 

I think I'm going to pause this game until they add something new. As of now, I have completed the T1 dungeons and after spending an afternoon in T2 I have no incentive to come back as a GWF. Exploiting dungeons just so you could finish them is a bad design for me. The only way I can see myself continuing to play is if I reroll to CW and exploit as everyone else does. : /

Shit, I don't think even Vanilla WoW was this hard and unforgiving towards melee classes.

 

What counts as a T2 dungeon in terms of level? I'm a GWF at level 30 and so far no issues with handling myself in dungeons... everytime I've queued a dungeon I come out on top for kills and usually top 1-2 in damage.

 

Don't get me wrong. I had lots of fun till lvl 60 (all though Mt. Houtenow was literally hell for melee so you better bring enough pots), but T2 dungeons have so many ground AoE that you spend most of the time avoiding stuff, and if you get lazy even once, chances are high that you'll get stunlocked to death. If you go to NWO servers, you'll see that it's almost impossible to PuG T2 dungeons, and the only way you'll finish Castle Never is if you have 2 DC and a CW.

The game actually tells you which dungeons are T2 or even T3, but you can guess that much by yourself. I think all dungeons till lvl 45 I think are considered T1, everything above them T2 and Castle Never is T3.

 

I love the Tanking mechanic...way better than most games but I agree that it seems far too easy to lvl up.

 

Why is it so quick to level?

As with most (all) PWE games, max-level players spend money.

I just reinstalled it and looked at my two chars and in the 15 mins i played i had more fun then i had in elder scroll online ....
