I was getting tired near the end and was having trouble articulating what I meant to say earlier. Trev and I purposefully chose mechs and skills that make us more difficult to hit. Fast jump capable mechs fill a very specific niche... they can be very frustrating to fight (sorry about that), but feel better knowing that you will not face such opponents often. Just want to reinforce with you guys that there is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel in regards to dice rolls. Remember that every bit of XP gained gets you a little closer to "Kai Allard-Liao" status.
Yeah.... I chose the Phoenix Hawk because when I jump all the time, it's ridiculously hard to hit me. Plus, Mediums are my bread and butter.
This is why I made damn sure you can't combine the "Sniper" and "Jumping Jack" Abilities. Not only would doing both make no sense, but to allow them to combine would be OP as fuck.
Nah, I'm a Canadian, using the rules as laid before me. Just at the time, those rules were broken as fuck.
