I plan on playing this open beta. I want to check out how the cleric healing is and I think that will decide whether I buy the game or not.

Meh, I have it downloaded so I may give it a go again, but I'm in Brian's position. You guy's are gonna have to sell me on it with tails of how awesome late game PvP will be without having RvR lakes.
RvR lakes? I don't get that metaphor? I'm assuming Realm Vs Realm lakes... I don't get the lakes part.... NEED. HELP. ON. METAPHOR.
lol. It is in reference to Warhammer Online, which had zones/areas set up for Realm vs Realm combat that included capturable objectives, which lead to fortress attacks, which lead to city attacks.
Rift world pvp is going to suck. They might add keeps and what not later but I highly doubt it. They are assuming that we will want to pvp in areas with rifts to really screw people over. I doubt it, that shit is getting old in beta. I say you should not play Rift. Wait for that game that promises RvR lakes, free and a free poop extraction/cleaning service.
I need to rep this man again. I could look it up, but usually in reference to game culture of a game it tends to make less sense.
