Don't forget Terra Nova. It was hanging by a thread avoiding being 100% about teenagers and pre-teens. And the buildup for massive end of season battle. *fade out* "Holy shit that was the coolest battle ever! We sure fought hard and they too and stuff and that was so cool. Shame the audience will only have a fricking one line by some side char upon which to imagine what went down".
The Hobbit movies formed their own separate timeline after romulan captain Nero and Spock accidentally traveled back in time and killed Jar Jar, forever changing the future of the Foundation and causing the temporary deviation from The Seldon Plan in the form of Mule, which was mistaken by Bilbo to be a pony. Then Ordo Maellus was dispatched by the Administratum to seal the unusual Warp Rift. When they encounter Bard and the Esgaroth's army on the orbit of Z'ha'dum they are joined by White Star Fleet and Sheridan, soon after which the Vorlon Fleet arrived, effectively setting in motion The Beginning of the Planet of the Apes. ...
"Then we came across an american patrol.. one of the planes had weird markings on it.." -Unknown enemy
I don't think air force planes are equipped to land on a carrier. you know the whole lack of a tail hook thing.
Yea, they've painted over the "NAVY" text and wrote "Must be air force", as in, come on, would a Navy pilot land on a frickin wrong carrier? Must be air force.
actually when did marine pilots start flying from carriers anyways? because if it wasn't till fairly recently then air force would make more sense in that picture. I know some marine squadrons fly the F-18 (and supposedly the marine corps intends to buy some f-35C's. The navy version of it. Wikipedia says enough for 5 squadrons worth of the carrier version and all the rest will be the STOVL version) found this article. https://www.mca-marines.org/gazette/carrier-based-squadrons didn't read all of it yet but it was published in 1981 by a captain (I'm assuming a marine captain but not certain) and he's asking if the marines are ready to be integrated into naval aviation (specifically flying off carriers) so i'm guessing around 1980 is when the marine started flying off carriers.
