    I think that is the kind I will build. though I'm going to see if I can do it with connector instead of merge block ( because if you just need to offload stuff from a small ship connector is more useful). connector should work just fine.

    yeah, that's way better than any mod i've seen. i always try to get by with vanilla blocks when i can these days

    i actually removed darth's docking ring awhile back and still dont miss it. it was too bulky and looked silly on all but the largest ships and stations

    I dont even use his airlock doors from that mod anymore since i got sektans airtight doors which are better and more useful. Window in the door of a large ship (if you dont like windows) use vanilla door or shutters if you have that mod.

    it won't be much larger going left (looking at it I'm not extending it any farther left) and on the right side I only extended it maybe 2 more blocks. then hanger is the main focus of the station anyways. only 2 refineries at the moment but I may expand to 3 or 4 going forward (towards the front of the hanger. that the room on the left. medical/bridge/mess/berthing will be on the right as well as the docking tube.)

    I did upload my worker to the workshop under friends only so you will probably have to log in (for website)

    Yeah, the shutter mod is fantastic. I use it to protect all my windows. I particularly like it instead of doors, because you can place them flush against the glass.

    in todays patch they added tutorials for new players, in destructable voxels and biggest thing IMO

    got a blueprint of the yellow starter ship (well it's a modified version but same dimensions still) to see if that would or would not fit through hanger door and it does not.

    the landing lights are 1 block outside the hanger door. and you can see that the ship wouldn't fit.

    and the still unfinished port side of the station. most of the exterior is finished now (and most of the interior for that matter).

    another heavily modified yellow ship docked. did the hanger gate docking tube and using 2 connectors but there isn't a seal. but still works for the same purpose. it probably would work if I adjusted the pistons distance .1 m or something. maybe from 5 meters to 4.9. "bridge" is the shutters (windows behind them) closest to hanger then an access hallway so you don't have to go through hanger if just flying around in spacesuit. of course you could you the docking port if there isn't a ship there. the other shutters in the recessed area are for what right now I'm calling the mess hall. level up will be stuff. bunks, bathrooms and such. now has 4 refineries, 2 arc furnaces, 4 assemblers, 1 large and 8-10 small cargo containers, 1 large and 2 small reactors. haven't done solar panels yet but those will be at least on 3 facings(for when sunlight is dependent on suns positioning if it isn't already). and Sektan's interior walls that are conveyors are huge weight and space saving. as are the medical and airvent interior walls. I think the entire thing is around 2 million kilograms at the moment. and that is light.

    Hydrogen Reactors & Ice to Oxygen Hydrogen Gasses

    seems interesting. adds 3-4 blocks? ice processor which is essentially and arc furnace that turns ice into oxygen and hydrogen a "new"oxygen generator thing and you can use the hydrogen for new reactors. though their power output seems a bit much. small is 50 MW and large is 400. I so wish I knew how to mod mods. I would tweak values then. for our own use not public use.

    Planets are going to break a LOT of things, lol. I look forward to watching someone who did the math wrong crashing down...
    But... slingshotting the planet might be a thing. Ludicrous speed, engage!

    shaostul uploaded 14 mods this morning and most I don't care about because already have something that does the same job (and possibly better) plus a bunch have way to many blocks. but this one is nice.

    holy crap. my current small miner with 4 small thrusters forward forward thrust was moving fine with no ore in it but after some ore it accelerates really slow now. I like this inventory mass.

    Yeah I think keen will have to add more thruster types or up the output of the current thrusters with the new mass stuff. otherwise small thrusters become pretty much pointless. though the tiered thruster pack seems to have no trouble. Ive noticed the particle effect is slowing the game down whether you are moving fast enough or not. Kinda wish it was an option to have it on or not.

    did they do something to stations? because I was trying to dock a large grid ship to a station (that was free floating not attached to an asteroid) and the station started moving when I bumped it. yes it was built out of station blocks. not large ship grid but station grid. unless it somehow got converted to a ship.

    okay. apparently with one of the patches involving the voxels somewhere (voxel support) stations can move depending on if you have the option on or off. so if you have it (voxel support) on station grids can move/float off.

    dammit. my world got corrupted and I can't repair it/salvage any ships. oh well. not really a loss. I was thinking of redoing the station anyways and thinking about it now with all the work i would have spent in redoing it probably just as fast to build a new one.

    i don't get why people are mad and want the original size of the large grid large container back and all "keen why did you make it smaller?". original is 125,000 liters. now it is 421,000 liters.

    yeah. surprised me too. makes sation building a bit trickier, but the improved physics looks nice. also means stations can "orbit" stuff now; all the better to avoid meteor showers

    yeah but it was really crazy and frustrating for "why the hell can I not dock this ship?" then I realize the station is moving. it does make docking a ship harder. I mean a large ship to a docking ring with merge blocks.
