If you go look up the mouse/rat utopia project by John b Calhoun, you will notice very disturbing similarities between current society and what the project results showed back then. So we probably have nothing to worry about allergy wise.
Maybe it's like that Cylon spy device they had onboard BSG combined with the "emperor's new clothes" effect. In fact the device is some kind of an entity that travels through space time to fulfill it's ultimate goal of being the biggest poser ever.
it's really just the Christmas lights nobody ever bothered to take down and everyone is taking pains to ignore.
I played the Legend of Zelda on the original Nintendo 64, when it 1st came out. I never touched it again and I moved on to other platforms and other games quickly. It was a long time ago and things change. So, though I knew who was in the picture I could not make the pot connection. Admittedly I had to do research on this in order to allay my curiosity. Now, I know.
It's like that light switch that everyone comes across in the room that seemly does nothing. (I know what it does...)
It just doesn't do anything for me. Sorry. I didn't like the story. I didn't like Link. Same with all of the Mario's and Banjo Kazooie's. Just not my thing.
didn't they use actual gold for those? not just gold colored paint. i mean really thin gold covering not the entire cartridge is gold. also pretty sure ocarina of time is still in the top 20 if not top 10 games of all time.
Don't get me wrong, the original's a classic and for good reason, but LttP is more accessible. There's not really a point where you don't know what your next objective is, the translation's less cryptic, and it still has tons of hidden side stuff to find that kept to the spirit of the first game. If somebody's gonna play only one Zelda game that's the one I'd recommend.
My very first arcade game experience was a slot machine in a German bar somewhere near Frankfurt. I was three years old. First video game experience was some weird game about being a rabbit running through a forest trying to avoid owls and stuff. That was also in Germany. I have no idea what that game was.
