network code? single player needs a network code?

 

So... just making sure here, but something we've wanted since 2002 is now coming out and we're upset that it isn't Star Citizen with mechs?

 

OH, don't get me wrong...I'm VERY HAPPY about MW5 announcement. And as you said, we've been waiting over a decade for this and we thought it would never come, but it's coming.

So, here's to hoping some MW juju-love can waft over to some sweet MMO action.

Actually, the netcode is a bitch. But, it would not be as important for the RPG stuff and when you get in battles, Instance that shit.

 

Why would we be upset? i don't think any of us are millenials. they are the ones who get hurt feelings. i'm just cautious about this.

I got news for you. Most of us are millennials. That's anyone that reached adulthood around 2000.

 

I personally consider anyone born 95 later to be the actual millenials. 80s kids are this wierd inbetween generation where we were just before all the tech.

 

...which is what I've always wanted...

 

This assumes everything can be ported straight from CryEngine to UE4. I'm thinking that there's more to it than that.

 

80s kids are in a good place I think, I was born early eighties, so my childhood we had some original nintendo but most of the time we were outside. Online games become popular in my early teens, cell phones, etc. We've lived in a rapidly changing world, so we're not caught off guard by new tech, but we also didn't live in the crazy 24 hour face stuck on screen era of kids (which I'm trying but failing to have my kids avoid). A little bit of both worlds.

ANYWAY, MERCS GOOD, MMO BETTER, MMO NOT HAPPENING. MERCS GOOD.

 

Honestly, I think they're missing out. There was a lot of fun to be had with some sticks and a rock, especially with no cellphone video around to rat us out...
