Joke's on him. Now he gets to sit around twiddling his Lekku waiting for everybody who didn't cheat to find a name that isn't taken.
So in order to slake my appetite for overpreparation, I would like to know around what level we should have characters in preparation for Wednesday. I was told we would start at level 1, but can we actually just walk out of our starting area(s) and hook up right away?
Yes we can. You can create the character, go through your opening conversation and meet the rest of the group immediately outside that room, which is what we're aiming for.
Damn.. now it's a level 11 Sith... I can't NOT.. couldn't help myself. I'll reroll come wed(?) izzat right?
Got characters set up for the class stories I haven't done. I'm planning on playing one of these unless we need someone different to round out the party. Xumou Sith Juggernaut (Warrior) Light side, but with a but Xumou admires the Empire and its strength, and has vowed to use his own strength to protect its people. He considers the Republic hypocrites who put their phony ideals before the needs of the people they claim to defend, worst among them Jedi who have the power to wrest control from the corrupt and powerful, but refuse to do so. He'll defend innocents, reward loyalty and overlook failure. However, he's arrogant and has something to prove, and anyone who dares betray him or the Empire will be crushed mercilessly. Mekhalf Powertech (Bounty Hunter) Mekhalf's side Mekhalf has one overarching driving force: do what is good for Mekhalf. He figures if someone wants you dead bad enough to hire him you probably had it coming. He doesn't kill for fun, and isn't a profiteering monster, but if he has to pick between saving his own ass or doing the right thing, he'll do the right thing... which is saving his own ass. Azolah Jedi Guardian (Knight) Crazy side Azolah is... not all there. Strong in the force, she's heard its whispers since birth, but lacking guidance the dark side has twisted her mind. She's well-intentioned, but temperamental. Her strength is a point of pride and she desires to use it for noble agendas, but under pressure she becomes terrifying and unhinged, lashing out at enemies real and perceived. Nagrani Vanguard (Trooper) Technically light side Nagrani is idealistic and inexperienced. She enlisted to defend the Republic and its people. She thinks the Republic can do no wrong and will not react well to anyone who suggests otherwise. Above all, Nagrani is not especially well fleshed-out, and I hope to play one of the others so that I don't have to make her backstory better.
IMPORTANT Okay, let's get a headcount for tomorrow night. Go ahead and post a yes or no and your preferred faction. Since the party limit is four, we shouldn't have any issues getting you into your choice, but we may have to either run a couple short groups or have one or two people play the other side this time and we'll get you straight next session.
I got an alliance level 4 I believe, I did the very first mission just as tutorial and saw my ship fly away after it was stolen (alliance gunslinger). I should be able to show tomorrow. I also have a Sith Inquisitor I just started playing, he's level 22. There was some massive XP bonus going on because I just got to the 2nd planet. I can play either depending on who wants what.
I would play the shit out of The Sims: Star Wars. Putting pool ladders on the sarlacc pit would give me weeks of entertainment all by itself.
