In a few sentences, how would you describe yourself to us?
I am a very easy going guy that can get along with just about everyone. Some of my RL friends, sometime sat I can be a little obsessive when I comes to games I like.

In a few sentences, how would you describe your gaming habits?
Before Warframe I never was a "shooter" but the RPG aspect of thi game really draws to me.I used to play and older MMO called EverQuest. I can be one those hat will keep trying at a part of a game and learningbut at same time voicing my dislike. Frome there it was WoW. I have been in top tier raid guilds in both games as well as led atiered guilds.

What are you looking for from this community?
I enjoy being and playing with people, hence the playment of MMOs. I want to be part of a community that longs to grown, learn and play along side of me.

How did you hear about the Skjaldborg?
While looking for a group to grind Exp in recruitment channel of Warframe, MagnusEffect contacted me about the clan and my inxtirments.

What do you feel you will bring to the community?
My sence of humor for and my stubbornness to see a job done and the will to try till the bitter end. Also I am knowledgeable with website making and forum building.

On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being very casual, and 10 being very hardcore what is your ATTITUDE?
I would would have to say somewhere middle-ish, maybe on the lower side. Im a casual player that enjoys the dedication of a hardcore player because I want to see the content of the game I play.

How many hours per week do you estimate you play online games?
30+ being generous.

What time zone do you normally game in?
Central

I have noticed that because of my satellite internet that during the busier times of the day I can be pretty laggy and take a little bit to join a group and get to area.

At the moment just Warframe. Usually i focus most of my playing time and energy on one game.

What kind of roles do you like to play?
I prefer to be in the fight either DPSing or Tanking. I have never really goten into caster and buffer and such, but then again before Warframe I never really cared for "shooters"

Do you prefer heavy roleplay or more casual story interaction?
More casual interactions. I can get in to a good RP story but lack the imagination to really run with it. I have always been very technical.

Outside of gaming, what other things are you interested in in the outside world?

 

Hey there, fellow tenno jockey here. While we do play warframe (and quite well!) we also play a whole mess of other games. At times we may all be playing crossout or RB6:S or Stellaris. Do you have interests playing other games as a community. We do our best to try to stick to F2P

Other than the gaming question I was just going to toss a little more about Us as a whole. My favorite part of your app is

Now not comical because you are some old ass man trying to play kids games....but because some of us played Ultima, Ashron's Call, Lineage (1,2 and Tera) and Ragnarok Online (I love Pori's). I myself put in 8 years of Warcraft, 6 years in EVE, and many many other RPGs whose time played I can't remember (a final fantasy 7 file with 490h, 100% complete). We are generally older gamers who got tired of most of the bullshit so we ended up here. I think our average age is about 33. Top end is high 50s, low end is 20s.

1. What's the story behind your gamer tag, "AraloreVlex"?

 

What's up newcomer,

One of our resident FPS players and an asshole of no small notoriety here. I binge on Warframe every few months pretty hardcore for a month or two before I go on a wander through my steam library, so I imagine we'll eventually cross paths if you're accepted.

Think about your favorite online community or guild you've been a part of in the past. Tell us about what made it great. Why was it special?

What do you look for in an online group?

@jChopper - Outside of gaming I'm usually hanging out with friends goofing off or working on computers for people in my spare time as a little side job.

@Moro Ibex - I am always interested in trying out new games as long as they are not extremely "Pay to Win" or their F2P is very limited like on the lvl you can reach or the amount of coin you can carry. When I first started Warframe I almost didn't stay because of these things until I forund out that pretty much everything in market you could farm for freely and could trade for the Plat. I can do the "Pay to get it Quicker".

@Hepatitis TK - If not the hero we deserve, then at least the hero we need.

@Ghiest - Can I plee the 5th? lol

@MagnusEffect - Madness is but the very fine line between genius and insanity.

@StalaggtIKE - When I played DnD back in Jr High I was and Elvish fighter born with the mark of the old gods as an omen to the coming darkness. Aralore is a simplified spelling of an ancient Elvish word for "the God touched", and Vlex is the name of my families bloodline.

@Sardonic - The greatest guild, IMO, I was ever a part of was the first I ever joined when I first played my first MMO, called Noble Dreams. Though we were a wide variety of different people, we were what I believe a true guild should be, a group connected so closely by a common cause that we were a family. Whether in game or out was stayed connected, we watched out for each other even in RL. I remember one time not long after my father passed we were on the brink of losing our house and stuff, and the entire guild pitched in and paid everything. When we lost members, whether to other games, or a couple times to death itself, it took a part of us with them. Even though none of us play that game any long, to this day we still stay in touch. I carry them with me every where I go and in every game I play. The old English letters N D on my avatar here is that representation being combined with a symbol of the game I am playing.

When I look for a group I look for folks I can have fun playing the game with. I could care less if they are veterans to the game or not, as long as the have fun. Conflict and drama can ruin a fun time fast.
