    I'm excited for inferno srms (I've heard they will only be in 2 packs like original lore. That is hearsay though). And for the coil guns.

    Of the mechs the archer and warhammer. I have a love affair with PPCs. Especially dual ones.

    Honestly, with all the mechs and weapons they are adding, I'm looking forward to removing the user made mech & weapon packs. I've found them to be more trouble than they are worth.

    Also if official mod support is out in about a month theres not much point of keeping the current mods. Just wait till they are updated (and I presume on/through steam).

    As much nice stuff the mods add I feel like they cause more issues then the base game already has (technical issues).

    Yeah, the reason why is the way the game manages assets in a file called the "versionmanifest". Whenever a mod edits this file, it is guaranteed to break your game when there is an official update. Some modders (myself included) are smart enough to steer clear of it, but most don't.

    It's a little funny when you see the difference; all my mods are practically ironclad and have always worked after every patch, but only because mine don't change the versionmanifest.

    Infernos are definitely cool news!

    I hope we get the Crusader someday. Shame it can't be now, but maybe someday...

    Yeah, personally I always preferred the Crusader over the Catapult because the former had proper arms for punching/clubbing the shit out of stuff. But I think the Catapult has enjoyed a lot more fandom because its silhouette is very distinctive and has always been a common fixture in various forms of media. (also the Crusader suffered from Unseen woes).

    Oh... and because of "Deadeye".

    I always felt the crusader was just more balanced than the catapult. There are one or 2 variants that have jump jets too.

    There was only one in 3025, the -3L, but there were several 3050 and later.
    And the extra fat Mackie that the WoBies decided to rename.

    All official mod support really means is that hopefully updates won't break modes games anymore.

    I have fought several Fleas and acquired an Assassin that "appeared" on my dropship, along with an LB-10X and a Snub PPC.

    What's up with the store ingame? I just started a new campaign and there are a ton of mech parts. And not just lights and mediums. I've seen victor parts and cyclops parts. Also warhammer, marauder and archer parts. And assassin and Phoenix hawk parts. I don't even have the Argo yet. Just finished the mission to salvage it/get it off the moon.

    Also all the LBX ammo (none of the new weapons yet). I think I saw a locust fire inferno srms but I haven't seen any ammo yet. Missed whatever mech it fired at but there was a fire burning from where the missile hit the ground.

    Still have not seen Infernos yet. But from screenshots I believe they are a seperate weapon system. Not an ammo. And that they are SRM 2s with 4 shots (so 8 missiles) Already loaded. I hope that means they take a support weapon slot.

    They appear to be a missile weapon slot. I found one++ in a black market store under the missile section. Not getting it so I can save for all 3 parts of a highlander in the same black market I'll be able to afford within a mission. A man needs his priorities afterall.

    I really wish this game gave more reasons to run light/medium mechs... I'll need to restart the game to play them again.

    Just n case anyone downloaded my mod yesterday, be aware I found a bug (Contracts won't load) I had to patch. You will want to delete v1.5 and go download v1.6. Sorry for the inconvenience.
