so i caved and bought it while on sale.Does anybody have any good game suggestions or want to play something?
Is it anything like making "real" games; you start like 500 of them and never actually finish a single one?
I find it to be a good program. It covers everything that I have needed so far. You are required to know the rules of whatever you are playing though
no, if you watch the video, it seems secret hitler can be completed in about 45 mins to an hour... depending on how much players argue about who's a facist
started a mod collection for any owners of TTS. I'm interested in getting a game going. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=717470187
Yeah, but it seemed like sheep was talking about things in a wider sense and I just forgot to quote him On another note. I will post some of the games that I recommend in a day or two.
I thought you could make your own board games with it. As such I was wondering if it was anything like making games is in general - you start with an idea, you sort of get the basic mechanic going, realize that it takes 2 years to polish and finish it out but you have another even better idea so you start with that...
Keep in mind, most people are not making their own games but playing what modders make in Workshop...but if you have aspirations of being the next Milton Bradley, yeah, you can do that too.
found another reason to play this: pick up the mod here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=662866262&searchtext=Battletech TCG (All Sets)
Here's some games I know the rules for and can be persuaded to play online with tts: X-wing miniatures Arcadia quest Super dungeon explore Discworld There are also lots of board games you can play on your browser more easily so I won't list those...
OMG so I found out you can modify the room you're in, and I have a "underwater" base (pictures from subnautica) and then i cut out the window in paint, makeing it "see though" I put a tablet behind the window, and looked up aquarium pictures. so I'm playing board games underwater!. Next is a Tank interior with moving roads / stuff, or a cockpit with things outside!
So during my time social distancing, my friends and I have taken a liking to running board game sessions via Tabletop Simulator. I'd like to see if we can get together for some board gaming as well. I don't have any ideas for a specific schedule as of yet, since I'll be juggling other board gaming sessions, but I'm hoping to get something together!
