    The Brits are trying to invade again. We only beat them 1.5 times before (I only consider 1812 a half because well they did burn D.C. then got their asses handed to them by mother nature sending a tornado after them)

    They sure did At the time, the British colonies were actually called Upper and Lower Canada, which are in the same area as present day Ontario and Quebec. The Native Canadian populations also helped in defence and attacks along the American/Canadian boarder.

    Well probably why I never knew was because IT WAS NEVER FUCKING MENTIONED IN SCHOOL! damn our education system sucks. The only stuff they mention about 1812 oddly is the stuff that happens south of D.C. and how jackson raped the brits after the war "ended" (british government signed a cease fire but I don't think the troops had gotten word yet)

    That's the American Education system for you. They only tell the kids whatever makes America look good. I'm assuming you guys didn't really learn about the Korean War, or the total story of Vietnam either. Nothing against you or anything, it's just your crappy system. I had to do a History project on this war, so I know some about it.

    Vietnam is fairly accurate. Korea they kinda skim over.

    I do know that the teachers wish there were better books to use though.
