As many of you know, I love to get in a good LoL match or 10 from time to time and I especially love playing with people I know so I've come up with an idea for a game day based around. Ladies and gents I give you: -drumroll drumroll- Skjaldborg LoL Day! This Saturday (August 4) the plan is to have custom matches of 5's will full player teams on each side (aka we need a minimum of 10 people to sign up, but there is no cap ) and just play for fun and lols (c wut I did der? ). I also want non-LoL players to join in with us because there are rules to help balance out us level 20+ people. Rinsho and myself will be on teamspeak at Noon Central time and play all day pretty much so as people that wanna play sign on we can group up and queue together. I recognize this is short notice so if we don't get enough people by this weekend, we can put it off until next. There are rules to the fun so that it's new player friendly and they are as follows: 1. No mastery page is allowed to exceed the maximum points of the lowest level player in the game. (ex: Lowest level is 3, you can't use more than 3 mastery points) 2. No rune page is allowed to exceed maximum tier runes that are usable by the lowest level in the game. (ex: Lowest level can only use tier 2 runes, so no tier 3 runes allowed in the match) Suggestion: This is for fun, so if there are a lot of new players in your game and you're experienced in League, consider playing an off character. Hmm...it's been quite a while since I played LoL (about a year at least), but I may have to sign up for this. I'll let you know for sure at some point today (unless I forget, which has been known to happen).
Rin and I should be on around 5:00 pm GMT. Would love to have ya, if you want to make a new acc on the NA server. And the rules should keep you from feeling too weak without your runes and stuff. No worries. This is meant to be for fun and possibly get Rin to stop fence sitting. And there should be enough people on each team that can explain or depending on how many people are on at that time we could always run a bot game and let you get a feel for it. It's a pretty simple game to pick up, but there's a lot of nuances to master. I could pm ya after I get off work. (If I don't forget that is. )
Woo! Over half the slots filled (with 3 maybes). As it stands either way we can do some bot matches or whatever for fun. Or 3v3s/ARAM/whatever other weird game modes we come up with.
Man I'd love to do this but I have a prior commitment. That being said, we should shoot for a monthly LoL play session. That is if we can pull ourselves out of our Mech cockpits long enough to enjoy another game.
If this works out well I would be up for a monthly/bi-monthly LoL day. That game is so much more fun when you can talk to people on TS3 and actually teamplay imo.
I am up for some games. I play often..badly but often Twiist is my name on my main account. I got a low level but cant remember name of it at the moment.
Thanks to everyone that participated in LoL Day. Dunno about you guys, but I had fun in all the matches. Hopefully next time (I'm willing to keep doing LoL Days if you guys are) will be a little more streamlined with the team shuffling and game modes so we can get into matches faster.
I had fun was sorry I had to bail out after a couple hours but free food and birthday cake is hard to pass up. I am up for more just let me know when the next day is.
Glad to hear it went well. As stated before, I had to miss this one but if we schedule more I am down to play.
