Hi, I'm still a newbie Menig, I am finding quite hard to work out how to apply for a position in a company, there dones not appear to be an application form for this... I am GMT based and plan to run striker style mechs... in weight classes from Dragon to Atlas. Can anyone shed light on how I can go about this...
its not that hard really ... Step 1 : Open Org. Chart and find a Lance with at least 1 Empty slot (labeled "MechWarrior") Step 2 : Find the Forum thread of said Lance (Skjaldborg Units -> 1st,2nd or 3rd -> Select Batallion -> Look for thread) There are some empty Lances that dont have a thread yet - for those ask Dihm or someone else from the Command Lance or post here: LINK Step 3 : Post something like "Hi Guys ... saw you got an empty slot in your lance, would love to join " Tada
Thanks Val... Once the organisation chart is fixed I will look into this, however, from memory there are are no GMT striker lance positions left
Thanks Thronen, unfortunately even with the organisation chart set to small and my browser zoom set to 75% I cannot see the whole chart, and at 75% its all but illegible... is this going to be fixed?
You might need a larger screen =). Unfortunately you will probably not be able to see the whole chart at once, but is that really needed. Just take a look at the GMT based companies by scrolling around. If you're interested in recon I will most probably have a spot for you tomorrow.
There was a hiccup. The method in which we create our Org Chart had an unannounced change in how they do things, so we had to work to get it fixed, it should now be working again! And Val... I think I'm going to steal that as a quote and put it in the New Members quick start. You'll be FAMOUS!
