We lost a couple tanks today to soften the city. Not exactly a fair trade, two Pattons for two AC20 Hetzers. But at least there are two less AC20s dug into the city.

hmmm.make certain you post what you saw in the confirmed ronin forces thread. The important thing is we prevented them from breaking out and engaging the other cities.

 

Agreed, hopefully we can keep them bottled in and contained long enough to at least wipe this group out.

 

Just a quick wrap-up for the week:

We've harassed the enemy heavy mech lance and traded blows with a tank destroyer company and actually come at on top - which is great given that MBTs usually get reamed by tank destroyers. We are currently down three A1 pattons, with armor damage here and there. Magnus is working out the details of salvage, but at the moment I'm expecting to roll a patton from our damage gamme lance to beta (to bring it up to strength) and fill our gamma as much as possible from salvage or 'other sources'. I want to tank Luxan and Steelbear for what has been a busy week for us - and for Magnus for offering advice and support (even if we gleefully ignore it on occasion )

As part of the northern attack group I'd say to expect more city fighting as we push the enemy closer and closer to their dropships. There are still more Hetzers out there and Phi lance has reported other types of enemy armor in addition to their hoevercraft - the news of a LRM goblin in particular is cause for concern. Still nothing a judicious amount of fire power can't solve
