hmm...i might be interested in making a comm guide for organised warfare. It would help the newcomers to the regiment (and MWO in general) as well as understand what the hell were saying when in battle how about something basic like : 1) Preparation before battle - know your team 2) Communication priority - radio silence 3) Review of the various basic roles - Commander, Brawling, Flanking, Scouting, Fire support 4) Duty and Communication protocol for commander 5) Duty and Communication protocol for scouts/spotters 6) Duty and Communication protocol for flankers 7) Duty and Communication protocol for brawlers 8) Duty and Communication protocol for fire support 9) Duty and Communication protocol when mech is downed 10) Priority targeting 10) What to expect in an organised fight and priority speakers 12) Anecdotes/experiences from the Regiment I'll probably try and get some help from people who participated in tourneys to see what worked and what didnt work. That way, at least, wed start with some kind of foundation for communication protocols. Of course, as it would be a GUIDE, it's not something that would be mandatory to adopt Good idea? or is someone already doing something like that (as not to waste precious time!)
Well... I'm not sure. Demon and I are working on something, but it's mostly video based. I'm sure that a written one would be a welcome addition... Don't know for sure though. Probably.
