You guys played Wargame: European Escalation? If not, you should definately check it out! If you did, you have this to look forward to! Also, here is the video from the link embedded cause it's
Lost it? In any case, I'd definitely recommend it. Both the singleplayer and multiplayer are awesome.
I've played Wargame: EE and this looks to be the same game with expanded airsupport, unless they made some really big upgrades im not going to buy it. Not paying twice for same game, smells of ripoff, they could probaply made all that with a expansion but "a new game" can have a bigger pricetag. Oh and the first game is really good .
I was under the impression that it was gonna be like an expansion, don't know for sure yet though. Really enjoyed the campaign in the first one as well as the multiplayer. I definitely getting this however they sell it. ^^
Its apparently billed to be a stand alone expansion, including new terrains and graphic + other bells and whistles. Air support will be greatly appreciated, and was sorely missed in several of the missions where the enemy had clear superiority in firepower and speed. I even had to lower the difficult to get past those parts. But on the whole it appears to be an expanded version of the same game, if you didn't like the first, you probably wont like this one.

The trouble with pc gaming these days we being charged more for less, or with we want a full game we pay a full game prices and have to buy all the dlc's plus they are always released to early and have to wait for them to be patched. Anyway i liked the 1st one but this does not seem to add much more to the game, I bet it will be a full game price though.
While I agree that it is like that sometimes, I don't think that is the case here. This is advertised as a standalone expansion, with a new campaign and a crapload of new content and improvments. 10 years ago this would've been sold as an add-on expansion without any engine improvements since that wasn't really possible to do then. I don't really see the problem here.
I've got wargame but found it very very difficult to play. This is more of a simulator in some ways, it is not your average battle point and click like C&C, that is for sure. The graphics and general layout were good, but I found it a bit off-putting to begin with. A similar game in a similar vein is World in Conflict, slightly simpler to play but again requires an almost god like control of the battlefield and some micro-management because units have a lot of abilities. Very entertaining though to use tactical nukes and artillery etc to crush on-coming enemy formations. Will try to persevere with Wargame though.
