Though about this on the weekend and decided to make a thread for it.
Idea is pretty much what the title says. What are your favourite movie scenes and maybe some reason why.

I'll start with one my absolute favourites from one of my favourite films of all time.

Funny, informative, Gary Oldman and dat sound. If I could choose sound for my futuristic automatic weapon, it would sound like ZF-1.

I just find it incredibly hilarious. The best part is Brannaghs monologue, methinks.

There are some others like Theodens speach or the bankrobbery scene from the dark knight, which are just epic.
I think good music is essential for really good scenes, as none of the aboves would`ve been this great without the music.

This movie is best scene after best scene....impossible to choose...but seeing as this one has been labelled "The Single Greatest Scene in the History of Motion Picture" I guess I should link to this one.

Hmmm....so many good movies to choose from. Jacob has a good one with the cinematic masterpiece known as Dune. So how about....

That whole series is made of win, Pheonix. My personal favorites are the munchkin Ash's and the part in II where the furniture starts laughing at him.

I know I'm going to take crap for posting something from Dragonball (flame shield up), but this was the moment in the Kai re-dub when I realized I was watching something appreciably different from what I saw as a kid. The dialogue had been improved quite a bit, and the music is so much better it completely changed the scene. Went from being pretty cool to being epic.

Yeah, I think TV series of any kind are a ok too.
