That's a bit weird. No queues for me. Even getting into a match is relatively quick. Especially when soloing.
Maybe EU servers are better? EDIT: Yep, even now to log in its 350 person queue. I don't get any server selection option, I bet they have 'em regionally and NA is just more packed than Europe?
If there are regional servers, EU isnt any better, checked out if i could log in and there was 450 person queu, estimated time to log in 5,5 hours =(
May be the free premium time too. I have about 5 days of it. It may get you to the game faster. Strange that you don't have it, if that's the case.
I was reading some things online that say that the mk3 versions of ships are better then the "gold" ships. I have not done any research further then that though. I enjoy the game itself, but I am not sure about how they are doing the ships.
I got on and looked at things, and it looks like the gold ships, at least at T1, are below the Mk3 equipment. The main difference is they are already leveled so they have a larger bonus. I believe you can attain the same bonus on the regular ships as well. So in the end the regular ships have better stats but there may be some other benefits of the gold ships.
Made an account and downloaded (name is "Orcinus", though the game apparently wants to add a "1" after it all the time...) I'm still not sure which faction to pick though. I can see the bonuses, but I really want to compare the ships each one has...
So, is this ran like an RPG, or sort of... only combat... like MWO? What is this about having to pay a monthly fee to drop with more than one friend? I'se looking at this, but was pretty buzzed, so I made a note and promptly forgot to look at it today
The way I see it, you're a mercenary. What faction you sign a contract with is what affects what ships you can buy, and several upgrade trees and other stuff. You're starting faction is like what race you were born as.
