anyone else have the problem with shirts never really being quite long enough that when you raise your arms over your head it shows off your belly button? While I'm sure there's plenty who wouldn't percieve this as a problem, I personally don't find my belly button all that attractive and I'm entirely sure I don't want to flash it at random people when I have the urge to stretch, yet for the life of me I can never seem to get a shirt that prevents this, no matter what size a person it's made for. Is this just me, or do others have this problem as well?

Thank you for humoring this entirely random thought of the day.

You need to go a size too big. If you do, when you put it through the wash, it'll shrink a little. Same for the next wash, and so on and so forth. Going the size bigger will give you the length you look for. That or just start getting polo shirts, they seem longer than most.

All my shirts are quite fitting and I've never had this problem. Still, I can see it being problem to some people.
    Also, what Trev said.

It has to do with cost cutting, one reason some shirts are cheaper is they use less material and they do that by trimming it off the bottom.
I have to often pay extra for the tall/long shirts or my sleeves are too short and my waist gets cold.

I don't have this problem, as I wear crop tops almost exclusively
