Armored Warfare is in Open Beta now and I got it and tried and I am having quite alot of fun. Its kind of like World of Tanks with modern Tanks but there are differences. I havent gotten far yet but Scouting works so much better from what I tried and I am playing mainly scouts right now, you can mark an enemy tank that stays visible and takes increased dmg. Every class seems to have some sort of ability like that. Oh also, no Arty or atleast it doesnt seem to work as OP as in WoT from what I've seen. Yea scouts that know what they are doing are invaluable. They don't need to be shooting, they need to be target designating. Flessar in game if you want to platoon up, I play both the EU and US server

I'm on NA, but if I can have an account on both servers, I don't see why I can't also make one for EU
just got my wheeled TD on the NA server. Also got my leopard I. getting the hang of the leopard and really starting to do well with both it and the recon stuff
So far it is fun. It is very similar to WoT but I do like the differences. The tank balance is more interesting and I like cold war tanks. I think its worth a f2p go.
Had a pug call me "the most idiotic tank driver he's ever seen" this morning. I was doing a PvE in my M41 and felt like having some Borg style fun. I never stopped or slowed and drove through groups of 3-5 tanks as they all tried to track me, mostly unsuccessfully. Of the 950 or so HP I started with I finished with about 540, so I'd say that's pretty good. I fail to see where I was idiotic since I dealt 1.8k damage on the move and got a shitton of assists. And I drew most of the fire so our MBTs were almost pristine at the end. Oh well, I had fun. So do we have or are we working on a Borg unit in the game?
sounds like science to me. i'll probably play some tonight. maybe. i'm getting annoyed at world of warships. so many shitty people driving boats. they keep running into me.
I think my favorite aspect of Armored Warfare is being able to level up stock tanks in PvE before taking them into PvP. Nothing hurt more than going up a tier in WoT, fighting 1 tier higher enemies, with a gun, turret, tracks, and engine that were worse than what I had previously!
Yeah, WoT was pretty brutal going up a tier or getting any new tank. I enjoy the PvE more anyway since there are missions and objectives instead of just CoD gameplay.
this is the biggest reason i stopped playing WoT. WarThunder seems to be slightly better in this regard as you can still effectively kill things by getting the drop on them, but it still suffers a bit from this too. Armored Warfare does look great (and maybe more balanced between factions?). I'm tempted to get it, but would be happier if we had more numbers to play together.
