Battlefield 1942 *FREE* on Origin to celebrate it's 10 year anniversery

just like the title says, get it while it's hot!

No its supposed to be permanent, you may have to check under 'demos'

 

Thanks I'll check it out. I like to add any old games I already own to things like Origin or Steam, makes reinstalling easier than finding the old Boxes and CD Keys. LOL

 

I'd rather pirate the fucking thing than put Origin on my computer.

 

What about Origin is worse than Steam?

I've never had any issues with either. Both are annoying and useful at times. I just think it is handy to add it to your library for easy install and uninstall.

 

I've had an EA account for other games for years, simply because I had to to access their servers back in the day. It's since been "transferred" into an Origin account that I haven't used. I'm fine with just one game distro on my computer. I'm rather leery of anything EA these days.

 

I've been using Origin for over a year now and never encountered any issues with it. They even have decent sales, comparable to steam, and sometimes even before steam has them on sale. You dont even need to run origin once the game is installed, unlike steam.
