Stackpoling is gross in MW: LL. Everytime it happens I'm like "Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck"
That's what I remember of MechAssault as well.
Mechassault was an abomination, Stackpoling aside.
Awww, but I liked Mechassault. It gave me Battletech on the genesis nostalgia. If only they had included the co-op option to have someone run the legs the the other person guns and torso.
Confusingly, it was also called Mechwarrior 3050 on the SNES. I played it too (and enjoyed it)...
but still... Mechassault lost me when the sequel came out. Fighting giant spider robots and a kaiju sized Atlas (with no legs) was way too much.
But... that Spider-mech fight music!
Wonder if we will get a release date in today's dev stream. Well I guess more accurately a backer email since somewhere they said they would never announce it in a q&a.
Not watching dev stream but it seems the cat k2 is in mostly because the warhammer and marauder are on ice because of the lawsuit. Fuck harmony gold. Sounds like the black knight is confirmed as well.
Also the raven won't be in at launch due to more work needed on the ECM.
And it seems that the trial won't even happen till Jan 2019. So limbo till then. Not the game in limbo but some of the mechs.
Current State of the game - the game is functionally complete. It is now a proper beta version of the whole game, not just combat. The developers are polishing the entire campaign to find bugs and balance the gameplay.
Summary of the Feb Q&A
Apparently on steam (already changed) some people saw a thing for a shadowhawk preorder and release month of April 2018. Already changed back to coming soon and no preorders up.
In that same thread Mitch posted this.
