    Okay... so after reading more about it, Elite seems to really be ramping up on cool shit you can do. I think its time we give this another serious look.

    info on multicrew @4:03. the "fast travel" feature sounds like it should really help us coordinate cooperative gameplay.

    The game is not cheap, but a good deal of us already own it. I hope you all will consider giving it another chance. It also has the least amount of "upkeep" for us in terms of maintaining a server and all that.

    what doesn't the demo include? the list of included features seems pretty extensive so just wondering what the limitations of it are

    From what I can tell, we have pretty strong nominations for Avorion and Elite: Dangerous. If people feel pretty confident in those two choices, I would like to put them to a vote as to which game we should focus on for official Skjaldborg activities. We might even do both "officially", but I would like to see the headcount.

    I will put it to a vote in a few days. Everyone please spread the word about this.

    Tech is split up into tiers based on the material used. The demo only gives you access to the low level stuff, but as far as I know there are no other limitations. However, mining gets more profitable and NPCs get more dangerous as you travel to the galactic core so while there may not be hard limits on where you can go, you will only get so far with basic equipment. Its actually a pretty brilliant way to present a demo.
