Updated. I think that weird c-bill value came out because I updated the value last night, then you updated it again today. It's corrected.

It's about that time we started doing rolls for missions.

Here is the breakdown for mission types:

I need everyone to roll their Admin skill on Roll 20 and then vote here:
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=11F2TATzo-o4jqkxvn2NB50Bcw6hHBbOOGDRGJoD5QOA

I will be able to see what you requested. Top 3 rolls will determine contracts that are available for the next month.

NOTE: All skillcheck roll macros have been changed to /GMROLL to prevent other players from seeing them (only you and GMs can see your skill rolls now). This may or may not have broken some custom macros you had on there before, but it was important to prevent revealing roll proficiencies (sorry Trev).

That's how it works. Everyone gets one vote and you can change your vote at any time. The standing results at the end of each month help me decide what contracts to offer.

To break this down further, there are two factors involved: The first is the 2-3 highest admin rollers get to cherry pick a contract employer and type of mission. However, they don't get to pick who they fight. That is determined by the votes.

The second phase of contract creation is to improve the diversity of contracts available. In this case, 1-2 additional contracts will be created directly from the results of the poll. The idea is that even if you lost the admin roll, you might luck out and have you preferred mission happen anyway. This second version of contract formed will also have a greater chance of being a different type of mission than those specifically chosen by the top rollers.

Generally speaking, this contract building will happen once a month. The number of contracts made will be entirely dependent on GM schedules (just me so far). At the minimum, I want to try to do at least one every two weeks. If I get help, we can have more. Contract dates will be posted in real time and players themselves can decide if they want to show up or not. Participation is not required for every single contract.

What would happen if we end up needing to take a contract with a company that our sponsor is hostile with? For example, me being signed with Alliance Industries Ltd, they are hostile with Hive and AAA. So I am trying to avoid work with them I assume. It sounds like if the highest vote getter is, say AAA, there would be another option for me to take that may not violate my delicate sensibilities?

I imagine this will all be really clear once we get one under our belt, like all the other stuff has been

    Correct.

The way I have it setup, I tried to leave as much flexibility as possible. Every faction is hostile to only two others and neutral to the other two. Even if the top two rolls both pick the same faction, I get to pick the OpFor and they will always be two different factions. So even only doing two missions a month, that's a bare minimum of 3 factions involved right there.

Using the example above, let's say worst case scenario, the top two rolls are both Hive missions. As GM I could have one mission HiveTech vs. Alliance and one mission HiveTech vs. Luthien Exports. If we do a third mission, it could either be PvE either for Independence Weaponry or AAA (or maybe both?)... or even another arena fight. Either way, you still get to fight for your faction.

Remember that arena fights let you pick where you want to put your reputation and PvE missions will always put you against bandits (which are enemies to everyone). So you have a lot of options over the course of a month. Worst case scenario, you may not *always* get your top pick, but you will have plenty of second picks to choose from.

Do you need to have everyone notified of the roll, or just yourself? I can make the same macro, but set to gm only. (Text and all)

The skillchecks should only be visible to the owner and the gm. I don't want player skill levels to be blatantly obvious every time we do a roll.

Okay, well I did some testing last night. Unless you put a /w gm on each line, it's going to show when someone does a roll to everyone, even if they can't see the actual results. So, for example, the below is what you have on my macros:
With the above, everyone will see the "===Leadership Roll===" and fluff text, but they won't see the roll itself.

If you preface each separate line with /w gm, it'll only show the entire text to the GM. Just FYI. I'll fix my skill check rolls sometime tonight, I think.
