    Good progress tonight. I did a large research paper today and rewarded myself the "break" of fixing the server.

    Vehicle Spawns. Work.
    Added a more traditional fighting force to be found deeper in the map. They shouldn't attack the base. Same faction as the insurgents. Should give the presence of vehicles / Inf carriers.

    To be done:
    Add Scout Helicopter to Airbase.
    Add chance of enemy Armor to be in towns, on guard.
    Training: Kill House, Bombing Range, Target Range, Bomb Disposal Range
    Add Optional OPFOR Faction for PVP nights.
    Add Optional IND Faction for Insurgent Immersion.

    So much awesome.

    My exuberance for the new scope adjustment system appears to have been premature. Not all of the scopes zero with the dials.

    The new high-magnification scopes do not. Nor do any with 'electronics' like the NVS/TWS/Nightstalker.

    Features & Bug report:

    • Missing: Refuel/Rearm Point or Vehicles for Aircraft/Armor/Wheeled. HEMTT's or a 'garage pad' for piloted vehicles would be very handy. Especially for Greyhawks, since the 'crash-no-connect' bug seems to be affecting them (see below).
    • Bug: Crashed Drones cannot be connected to (unless you've died? Haven't confirmed) after respawn. Can anyone else confirm this (I know it's been a problem on past servers)?
    • Feature(?) : Arsenal Piles can be moved with the aLive Player Logistics interface. Tested by taking the bags on a Transport to the South area of the map. Pile appeared to be left behind on the flight over, but re-appeared when I disembarked and could be placed as a sort of 'resupply point'. Kinda cool, but potentially game-breaking/mess-making/glitch-causing. Stuff isn't supposed to teleport and not break the server somehow.
    I suggest making specific vehicles Arsenal points for future use. I -think- there's a way to get an aLive supply drop set up so one of the birds will drop a crate off.​



    Can't recall anything else that popped up during my hunt tonight. Mission successful. Badguise ded.

    Something I'm looking to add is the USAF mod by fullerpj. I want Spooky Gunships.

    Vehicle Rearm is actually a little harder than it sounds. Will look into it.

    Drones issue is a new one.

    My experience with the usaf mod is that the ac-130's tend to be overkill for almost everything. The early version had some issues with massive studder caused by the explosions from the 20/25mm (can't remember now which one he was modeling at the time). Granted I've only run it in passing since then and not tested it really hard in quite a while. Lately the only one I've been using is the C130 variants by SaberD in order to fly the YMC-130, sadly its just not quite able to take off out of the soccer stadium on altis, it can make the landing if you do it perfectly. The lack of the AC-130 is the mods' downside given that it covers so many options.

    - Disabled Player Logistics to prevent moving of base objects. I'll look for a more permanent solution.
    - Land anywhere around the airport runway and your Airplane/Heli will be repaired.
    - Repair/Rearm zone for land vehicles behind northern most hanger.
    - Added Kill house. When you enter the concrete structure it resets all targets.
    - Added Firing Range down the length of runway. Low structure at 400m. Bunker Tower at the 1000m range.

    Fixed a bunch of little things. Will be adding much more now that I'm nearly done school (one more sleep).

    Added the MANDATORY mod USAF. I really wanted a Spooky gunship, and now I have my very own, and you do too. Will be live tonight.

    aaaand USAF removed temporarily, I hastily put the server up last night and noticed noone could connect... so I tried and I couldn't connect... so it's back to how it was, will work on it tonight.

    OK Guys. It's been a fun week after finishing school and starting work. Here's the rundown for the next month.

    April 23rd (Yesterday, bitches) : I setup a Killing Floor 2 dedicated server. Runs fine with one guy, but noone was left online to test with me yesterday evening. "Ghosts Canada Killing Floor 2 Server"

    April 30th: ACE3 is released. I will take a look at implementing it for the weekend.

    May 3rd: I leave for Rome for 10 days. No server access available, but I'll see what I can do to make it all ready to go.

    May 14th: Back in action, I'll work on the Takistan map some more, but more importantly, I'm going to look at the Kunduz map (Made by the project reality guys) for some very immersive Asymmetrical warfare sans air assets ( maybe one Apache and one small transport CAS). I will also take a look at MCC implementation so we can have some more dynamics, as well as Player OPFor for some force on force training.

    I intend to fully support the game "SQUAD" by the Project Reality guys. 50 v 50 games like Insurgency. Should be fun, will get a server up asap as it's released.

    Use the ASRF and USF UPDATERS to update to the latest version.

    Ok. I just (literally) got back from Rome. *(Awesome trip).

    I am removing the AllInArmaTerrainPack.

    Switching to a ground based infantry game. Prepare to kick some hut doors and blow some compound walls.

    You will need to update several core mods (CBA3, RHS, ALIVE 0.9.8).

    Last i looked this server was no longer active. In order to reduce the risk of misunderstanding this should be unstickied
