    So why change engines to Unreal after developing in CryEngine since before 2012? Seems like it would have been a lot easier to take all the existing base code and build a solo campaign than to start again from scratch...

    Whats the state of cryengine now? Crytek isn't doing so hot right?

    Either way, if piranha pulls this off it'll redeem them a bit in my eyes, but I won't be putting pre-order money down, but if its a solid game its an instant buy after release.

    And why would a Raven take on a Shadowhawk 1 on 1 point blank?

    i thought they said they didn't have money for missles, but he had missles. and if they did have money for srm's but not LRM's why were both installed? IF both weren't installed why did the hawk only fire 2 (ala srm two) Why did he not shoot more than just one round. at 4 minutes when the raven fired his missiles, why did the Hawk's gun's cycle? Why did the raven take so much daka damage, and not go down. Why didn't the Raven use it's speed to it's advantage, run in, missile, run out. Why did the Hawk, turn it's back on the raven. Sigh.

    (ok i'm done sorry, good video)

    The Unreal Engine is quite a bit more stable than CryTek at the moment.

    All they have to do to succeed is incrementally improve the gameplay of previous Mechwarrior games. This should not be an overly difficult task. I really really want to see a win here.

    As far as the raven being too early for 3015... come one guys... don't be *that* kind of fanbase.

    It's just a teaser trailer. Maybe the trailer is set later than the start of the game itself.

    if it was a 1x (which it probably was being so early) it's top speed was only 86 kph Thats not really any faster than a shadowhawk could go.
    and yeah the comment about not having enough money for LRM's made it sound like they had plenty of srm ammo but they were almost not used. Looking at the startup sequence it has 1 ton of SRM ammo and no LRM. And in combat it has no LRM ammo. Though the weapon locations are odd in the HUD. I realize they are mirroring the locations they are on the mech but still kinda odd. Does fire one shot (2 missiles I see both) from the SRM but why only once? Still had 48 missiles when the raven went down and mini stackpoled.

    I only saw one missile when i first watched on my phone and barely saw the second when I watched again on my PC so I can't blame you for thinking there was only one missile.

    could have been a field test for the prototype. Though why they would sent it into combat no idea. It is only 9 years as dihm said. Unless it did not have the ECM (that specific one and they wanted to test it's combat capabilities I can see that).
