You just referred to mechs as vehicles. SHAME
Well mechs are a vehicle in a broad sense. And the writer does mention a tank as a class. A scorpion class light vehicle.
"2018: The Year of Battletech"
Is this real life... or is this just fantasy?
Sexy sexy fantasy?
Looks like pushing the spacebar still unlocks invulnerability+aim-assist mode.
Also, do missile locks not work is the pilot just retarded?
Well if the pilot is the writer and they are calling specific mechs a class then possibly.
Actually I don't think I saw the LRMs fired even once. SRMs yes.
MECHWARRIOR 5: MERCENARIES EARLY PLAYABLE AT MECH_CON 2017
This year, Mech_Con attendees will have the opportunity to be among the first to play an early, never-before-seen build of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. Featuring tactical, first-person PvE 'Mech combat in an immersive, career-based Mercenary campaign driven by player choice and set within an advancing timeline, players will adopt the role of a green MechWarrior mercenary thrust into combat as the Third Succession War continues to fracture the Inner Sphere; the vast region of colonized space surrounding Earth. Victory, prestige, and profit will not only require skill on the battlefield but in the maintenance and enhancement of your BattleMechs.
Set for release in 2018, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is under development by a dedicated development team at Piranha Games using Unreal Engine 4.
it's this weekend. So we will probably get news about MW5 and maybe battletech.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries To Launch in December 2018 with 4 Player Co-op & Full Mod Support
also the MW5 website has been fleshed out.
I do hope they make MW5 more joystick friendly.
This looks like more fun to me than MWO. Watching this makes me realize how SLOW the ballistics travel. I wonder if they even break the sound barrier.
to me it looks more like what we (at least me personally) were hoping MWO would be.
yeah... I still don't understand why they don't add combined arms into MWO, it'd add a level of strategy that is currently missing, and it would also put a decided crick in the meta builds, as they'd also have to consider defending themselves from creep.
