So, I was talking with Garth in IRC today... and he pointed me towards this game. Natural Selection 2, basically aliens vs. Marines with players controlling both sides. I played the original natural selection years ago, never made into my all time favorites, but it certainly wasn't bad either. Am looking forward to the sequel. I don't know much about it and the game play, but I know it's a pricey release and with all the other games I have going on now I'll probably wait to buy it on sale unless something serious happens to push me over the edge.
Its kinda like an RTS plus FPS at the same time, you have someone on both sides building and commanding ala starcraft (sorta), but everyone else is rampaging through the corridors killing stuff.
Maybe it's just me, but with as much as he looked at the map, it started to piss me off. Architecture in video games makes NO fucking sense. No one would build anything like that, with all that wasted space and stupidity.
Got hold of it earlier today when a friend threw it at my face. So I'll be up for playing it once it comes out
