I want to like it, but the firing then moving mechanic seems so strange to me, and to be honest I dislike the art style, a lot. Maybe I'll just stick with megamek...
Its a little strange when you think about it, in practice it isn't bad though. Basically you're taking a shot at someone, but you don't know how they're moving at the exact second you take the shot, so the game 'simulates' that by having you pick your targets and then seeing what happens based on the movement both players picked for that turn.
I would have to try it I guess, if the gameplay is enjoyable enough I could probably get over the art style.
