WHO the FUCK says oh sure, go ahead thanks... like isn't the first thing you say is WHAT dumpster, we didn't order no dumpster, go away.

well, if you know enough about a sextant to be able to get a heading, you should also be able either, renew your heading as you get closer to your objective, or triangulate your objective by determining your heading from different azimuths. Of course if the information you're given is incorrect then you'll still end up in the wrong place.
