the art looks great. the fact that is a dude somehow ruins it for me. come to think of it... has there ever been a girl main protagonist for gundam? disappointed.

you mean as the central main character? I don't think so. there are a few where there are female main characters not just supporting.

EDIT: I forgot about gundam 0080 war in the pocket. Where they are testing the gundam NT-1 that is supposed to replace amuro's rx-78 (it is supposed to go to him eventually) but the test pilot is female. It is a short series (4-6 episodes I think.). the redhead chick at 10 seconds is the pilot of the NT-1.

it's also the only one I can think of that has the kampfer mobile suit in it from zeon. still one of my favorite ones.

not shown among the weapons is the chain mine.

The chain mine was a number of disc-shaped mines connected to each other by flexible cable. Each mine had magnetic claws on its underside, allowing it to be attached to objects. The chain mine could be thrown out like grenades one by one, laid on the ground or fixed to a building as a mine, or (most destructively) attached to a single enemy and detonated.

(cool stuff, but didn't want to get off-topic. thanks for answering my question though. ;))
