Hardest thing for me to get used to was that you usually have to shoot at the enemy without being able to see him. When you lead a target he's usually below your nose, so while you're shooting you can't actually see him... its aggravating. You have to learn to sweep through the optimal hit angle while firing a burst rather than aiming and firing at a single spot.

If you have the x52, get the t16000 and use it with the throttle. You will not regret it.

Thanks for posting this up, looks like I'm going to be making a little drive tomorrow to the local store to buy one. I've been needing an ambidextrous stick to start working on my muscle memory before I start training in a PC-6 for my new job.

Almost am thinking about getting two of them so I can mod one. The PC-6 has the stick mounted on the floor like a helicopter or vintage airplane. Guys have extended the stick length on the warthog's but I'm still hunting for a decent way to do it with the t.16000m

With a big enough hammer and a welder anything is possible.

in the words of Jesse James "anything is a bolt on with a welder and a plasma cutter" love or hate him, he speaks the truth

This is what I'm looking at doing something similar to

Looking at the guts of the stick it shouldn't be too difficult to do, may lose the twist but then I don't really like those on my sticks since I use rudder pedals.

Its the poor man's warthog. Since itas only been on the market for a month or two there hasn't been any longterm tests done on if it will be dependable or fail like most of their other flight products.

Well one of the two t.16000m lasted all of 3 min after I got home before I had it taken apart. Already have the needed supplies found to lengthen it to a floor mount or below seat mount. Going to have to wait until I get home in a week and a half to figure out what measurements I need.

And... I kind of need a new stick. The CH stick/throttle are great and durable, but the damn things are too big for my baby hands. I actually cannot reach half of the buttons unless I take my hand completely off the stick and push them. Now that I should have some more money coming in, I'm looking at replacing it with an X52 pro setup to get the adjustable hand rest and tighter spring.

Ended up buying the logitech one thats out right and it is actually not that bad. Not very comfortable for a long time. A bit stiff but i havent truly broken it in yet. And it does have a rudder twist now. I think earlier versions didnt.

    Thrustmaster is still probably better.

I recommend you forget about the joystick and grab a bottle of booze.

I just realized I've got 3 full bottles of vodka left and in addition to them I've got like 6 bottles of white wine and at least 4 x 3 liter wine boxes plus all the ciders that were left over.

The fuck is this message to do with joysticks?

    Beats me.

Logitech 3D Extreme was a really good bang for buck costing me ~25€ when I bought it.

It isn't great but it isn't the worst joystick out there!

I want that mad catz xt62

    :edit:
    fixed typos.
