Japanese Ground Forces are on the way! Type 95 Ha-Go Type 97 Shinoto Chi-Ha Type 2 Ka-Mi Type 3 Chi-Nu ST-A1 (Type 61 Prototype) (Turret is too small in this picture) Type 89 I-Go Ko Type 1 Chi-He Type 2 Ho-I
The prewar and postwar tanks should rescue the lineup but yes, the late WW2 vehicles will likely be rather shit or concept tanks to help. I'm after the postwar stuff though. Type 61 and Type 74 specifically.
I have been looking forward to these tanks ever since ground forces was announced. Soon it will be time to blow up some shermans.

Armoured combat has always been over shadowed by the overall results and actions of the infantry. It is like saying the Germans were incapable of dealing significant damage due to loosing at the Battle of Kursk. You are personally ignoring all aspects of the engagement and pin pointing a single part of the overall diagram. The Japanese logistically lost at Nomonhan, but the story behind the armoured combat says something different. Up until the final skirmishes of the incident, Japan had been fairly successful in battling against the Soviet forces. The total number of Soviet armour numbered to 438 units. This is compared to the Japanese number of 137 (1/3 being tankettes such as the Type94). Here are the casulty numbers for the Soviet forces. July 3rd Skirmish 1st Tank Battalion: from 44 BT-5 - 20 lost; 2nd Tank Battalion: from 28 BT-5 – 17 lost; 3rd Tank Battalion: from 50 BT-5 – 34 lost; Supplement Company: from 10 HT-26 – 5 lost; Recon Company: from 5 BT-5 - 1 lost; Total: Of 133 tanks used in the battle of July 03 - 77 were lost. July 20th Skirmish 1st Tank Battalion: 69 Destroyed - 21 Damaged 2nd Tank Battalion: 16 Destroyed - 27 Damaged 3rd Tank Battalion: 20 Destroyed - 17 Damaged Recon Company: 20 Destroyed - 22 Damaged Headquarter Unit: 0 Destroyed - 1 Damaged Supplement Company: 0 Destroyed - 8 Damaged Total: 125 Destroyed - 96 Damaged Ausgust 20-30th 11th Tank Brigade: 22 Destroyed - 102 Damaged 9th Tank Brigade: 3 Destroyed - 9 Damaged August 21st to September 1st 6th Tank Brigade: 22 Destroyed - 56 Damaged Grand Total: 249 (roughly) tanks destroyed during the Nomonhon Incident. Excluding losses dealt by air or damaged units. Of the total amount of Soviet tank losses, Japan only suffered a sheet 34 (roughly) tank losses in return. They purchased one from the germans and it was meant to be delivered by submarine which never happend. Overall it was a very bad deal for the Japanese. They would never have been able to produce it which the germans knew and it was also sold for a very high price. More then what it is actually worth.
Type 74 there is a video of it here http://warthunder.com/en/news/4380-development-hydropneumatic-suspension-in-war-thunder-en/
