Hey guys! Finally getting around to painting up my Battletech figures I bought last winter. Got them base coated but I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to do our unit colors. Have any of you guys done SoR camo/colors with P3 or Citadel paints before, and if you have, could you post the color and ratios you used?

I'm severely red/green colorblind, so I always have a very tough time trying to mix color properly. Thanks!

we sure do. I can post those right now. :)

To the best of my understanding, all are based on historically traditional viking colors. The "Commandos" are the semi-unofficial 4th Battalion (I had Dihm's approval on it). This was done for mostly fluff reasons. Essentially, whereas the 1st, 2nd and 3rd mostly exclusively with the FRR and their allies (more or less), the 4th was intended as the "special forces/foreign legion" battalion. More or less how SoRX operates in MWO. In a practical sense, this gave me more flexibility as a GM to do what I wanted without stepping on established "canon" for the other battalions. I chose pale green with blood red trim for the 4th to represent the "4th horseman" and also because it was the only color not already taken that looked good next to the standard green/grey/blue (I tried purple or yellow, but neither looked right).

My understanding is that the battalion-specific colors cover the left arm or arm & leg (not certain specifically of which). Maybe left arm + right leg? Whatever looks good i guess.
