So Starpoint Gemini 2 is basically EVE Offline. First impressions are quite good, but I've only played for about 40-minutes. You fly around in a customizable spaceship doing whatever. Visuals and design are great. The only issue is that the cotrols feel a little senstive to me. adjusting the mouse will probably fix that.
I picked up Starforge for 4.99. They just recently put out a huge update, and it is now supposedly in Beta status. It was worth taking a chance on for 4.99.
Yeah I had checked it out awhile back but it seemed like they weren't making much progress. Apparently this big patch they released added 64bit support, which was supposedly one of the main bottlenecks. I dunno. 4.99 was a decent gamble though.
I also picked up Garrys mod today. I saw some silly videos on the internet and thought for 2,50 €why not? Does anyone have it actually? From what I heard its most fun with other people, goofing around.

Can someone explain how this works? I'm not very excited in doing more business with Gamestop again, but is this basically buy $20, get $6 free?
whut? fuck that! the only console games i have left are so old it wouldn't cover the gas it took to get there. so essentially, that offer is only really good for console players looking to quit the habit. Gamestop disappoints me yet again...
Strongly considering Fallout New Vegas - though I may get the Fallout 3 GOTY instead since it's less twitch combat.
I did that, but all it did was send me to a listing of locations of nearby Gamespots... no further explanation though.
I enjoyed it. The campaign is pretty standard strategy campaign stuff, but the skirmish mode is fun. I haven't tried the multiplayer.
I have both... be wary of FO3 though. It has some sort of issue with Win 7/8. There's a thread post in Steam to mod a game file to make it run.
