it will most likely happen after then just the way things are rolling in the planning process, the more the merrier
The recent patch does changes things a bit like what mods are compatible and likely to be used - or we can just go with vanilla with very few mods like species diamorphisms and namelists.
@MagnusEffect @Trevnor @Lardaltef IM me with links to mods you are wanting to run, I am thinking about running our game on the 16th, that Saturday - I will compile a general list of mods and make a straw poll to vote on. Mods that all three of you send will not be on the poll (pre accepted) so if you don't see it on the poll we are already gonna use it then after all three of you send me the mods and votes are in I will compile the modlist for your benefits and link it to each of you so you know which ones to have active for the 16th. I will plan for a lengthy campaign with breaks in between (ie pause for a bit, get lunch, snacks, etc) when ever we are all on ts and ready to go we'll get it started! Sound good? So get them in to me by sunday night so I can get the list and poll going!
Also I plan on hosting it once a week so we can keep the campaign going! - or even the next day (17th). But I know magnus has megamek stuff planned so want to work around that. But with at least four of us that should be plenty fun, if more want to join they better get in here before hand if they want say on mods! So know any other members that will want to get in on this get them in here!
I might be able to join, but I'll update you on that next week as soon as I reliably can. Still have some studies I need to get out of the way.
Yo, I actually have no mods to suggest, I just don't mind playing with them. Also. the 16th is a Friday, I can't actually make that day. I can make the 17th, but that's also the Borg's Birthday bash thing. So... yeah, not sure on the date for this one.
I haven't played in awhile so i have no opinion on mods. By which i mean i'm not against them (unless they break gameplay and don't enhance it) and that i can't really suggest any. Maybe one of the ones that adds new ship classes? I dont know what is out there now. And if they overlap not much point.
got it, no worries. we could try for the 18 then possibly? That gives me more time to get us set up No worries, I am trying to make it enjoyable for everyone to play - nothing super game breaking. I am thinking about keeping the mods limited to cosmetic enhancements and the ones that maybe add in the extra ship classes. Also if you are interested in any custom races I will need them linked so I can add them.
