Richards accident was pretty bad. It occurred before I got in to the show but he wrote a book about it. The gravity of just how bad it was and how lucky he is is evident in the book the first chapter after actual car crash happens. That chapter and nearly all of the remaining account of what happened after the crash were written by his wife because he does not remember those months.
After doing some research I put as much as I could together about what might have happened. don't take this all as fact but here is the gist of it. Jeremy was working and refused food for about 20 hours or so and the food he requested the producer to get earlier when he got back to the hotel could no longer be brought to him because the restaurant in the hotel was closed because of how late it was.
There's always times when you'd like to punch your boss or client or both at the same time. Most of us wage slaves who are bound by the coin can't even dream of actually following through. To me, it must've been a thing where he constantly wanted to punch his boss and one day he was really tired and really hungry and possibly it was a shitty day. He was able to do so without ending up permanently shunned by all the companies in the region, losing home to bank and children starving and wearing clothes made of dumpster shit. Because that's how most of us would end up if we punched the boss. The boss would call every last possible company and friend he had in the wide region, it would be on the news and so. Say goodbye to ever getting a fucking job again and since most people are paid very little and have to loan money from bank, it would be the scenario where many people have made the decision to swallow the barrel.
nah, it's true to form, he's just trying to reassure everyone that he's still the worst possible thing ever ^.^
