I really regret buying this for $60. Not saying it's a bad game, but I was a bit annoyed there was a ton of excitement for its release and then had no one to play with. I've noticed a trend in that for pretty much every Warhammer game we've shown interest in. Still, a full game for $12 is nothing to complain about.
That was a badass trailer. I hear Bretonnia has a propensity for rat problems. I'll take it as a great ne- errr... ill omens... of that which is to come.
Aspius called it, skaven will be in an expandalone (2nd in the trilogy, whatever): https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2017/02/28/total-warhammer-bretonnia-dlc-ends-first-game/ Only thing I'm sure of is that I will not be paying full price for the next two games.
I imagine they'll probably title it 'end times' seeing as how that's about the only time that the skaven actually move to take and hold territory, they're fine with taking the territory, but keeping it is usually pretty meh for them, they'd rather leave scorched (or poisoned) earth behind them and move to the next victim.
There's already a horde mechanic in place for the Chaos and Beastmen factions. It will probably be similar to them.
Maybe I'm blind, but there was nothing in that article that said Skaven will be in the next game. It just suggested that people will be upset if they aren't.
